I saw this golden glory in the sky and ran to take pictures. I thought it would be good, and I might even be able to drive for better ones.
But twelve seconds later it was already fading. No excuse for non-productivity that night!

Dear Louise,
Thank you so much for correcting my error. I just re-entered my name by accident incorrectly again. Could you please delete it for me. I really appreciate it so much and dont worry, this will be my last mistake. So sorry.
These shots are have different colors of the sky and yet look so similar. Beautiful!

Isn’t there an old saying “Time and the sun wait for no photographer”? But your second picture has more to see: the blue above the clouds and the sihouettes below! Very nice sky watch!
April 16, 2009 at 9:45 pm
Yes sometimes you have to race to catch a sunset, I’ve done it myself! Beautiful shot though Louise, so worth it.

April 16, 2009 at 10:39 pm
Amazing how quickly it changes when we don’t want the sky too. Yet days with rain seem to stick around forever! These are beautiful photos.

These are great photos but I do know what you mean about “gone”. I know I have put my camera somewhere or had the battery charging and by the time I collect it the moment is gone! Thanks for sharing and stopping by and have a wonderful weekend.

It’s hard to believe these beautiful colors are out there waiting for us. (By the way, that is some bread you bake!!!!!)
April 18, 2009 at 3:02 pm
As pretty as a rainbow …now if you hadnt said this couple was affliated with your church I might have wondered if they didnt spread some peyote on the bread by mistake ..
😉
Love how that bread looks like the traditional challe we had on Fridays growing up
April 22, 2009 at 8:53 pm
A lot of extra work, but if I was still making bread every week I would of tried it, sounds and looks so amazing.
I gave up bread making after my daughter left home, now we eat store bought stuff.
