I actually don’t have blue skies today, and I do not believe I have had most of this week.  So I went into my archives of a picture I missed last summer. I believe this is just entering the mountains going east off the interstate that goes south out of Salt Lake City.

I love wind turbines, and I always love the moon. And I am just about as tired as winter many of you are, so I thought a summery blue sky would be nice.

This sky was taken about the same time and place as the farm pictures from my last My World Tuesday post.

You might see more pictures from this trip, but this was probably my favorite. I knew I needed to have some pictures of the dead tree, but I did not know that by the time I could do it the sun would be setting and the moon would be flirting with the clouds as well.

We are home from our trip, and we loved it.  It was a whirlwind as these trips always are, but we had an extra day in our “vacation spot” which this year was Zion National Park.

I do not believe that any time in my mentioning of going on a trip for our family vacation and my stamping Convention that I said anything about my family being here from Missouri.  They arrived this evening.  We arrived yesterday evening.  (We cut Convention short so we would not arrive at the same time they did.)  We spent all day unpacking, doing laundry, catching up and catching up blogging.  For me that meant trying to whittle down my Google Reader.  It started at almost 400, but I kept it at that level after getting internet access on the trip.  Last night I got it down to 200.  Now it’s at 100, but I’m sure it will be at 150 by the time I get up in the morning.

My point here is that I am busy right now.  I am always busy.  Someday when I have time, I will tell you about all the things I do to keep busy, but not now.

My garden post did not get written as planned before I left.  Or today as I hoped.  I am aiming for sometime this week, but no guarantees on anything with the family here.  (Plus it is the last week before school which means pool EVERY day if possible.)

So since it has been so long since I posted anything, I am posting a picture of my trip just to have something new up.

This will probably turn out to be one of the favorites from the trip.  It is at the beginning of the trail to the Weeping Rocks at Zion National Park.  I thought myself the luckiest person in the world to be able to see something like this and even get a somewhat decent shot of it.  Many of my posts are in the neighborhood of 1000 words, but I think this picture more than enough makes up for absence of verbage.  (And likely is better than all of those words anyway!)
