I am at the airport with my new laptop.
My flight will leave 20-something degree (Fahrenheit) Albuquerque for 70-something degree Orlando in about an hour. I am not complaining except that I will have to paint my toenails.
My laptop has no photos on it, so I will not be blogging while I am gone.
Hopefully some semblance of routine will return late next week.
However, I DO have a laptop, so I hope to do a little blog visiting in my free time… which will not be much because I am going to a stamping event and then visiting a good friend. But hopefully I will “see” some of you in the next few days.

In answer to your question:
Why was your camera in the overhead compartment?????
My reply: it was there because my shoulder bag that always contains laptop, camera and spare lens needs to be a) somewhere safe and b) close at hand. It is NEVER more than a metre away from my grasp!!
January 10, 2009 at 6:50 pm

Hi Louise thank you for your visit and comments SWF.
Its warming up already 5 degrees , which is very nice, as I feel spring fever coming on.
Usually followed by copious chores and de cluttering.
I hope you have had a good trip and picked up plenty of tips.
Be well.

Safe travel and enjoy yourself you deserve to.

Hi Louise! The sky is very beautiful. I use picasa to store my photos. I put them immediately from Picasa on blogger. Even I can do it, so it must be easy. These photos take directly the right size. As soon as they are on your blog you can enlarge them by clicking on them. Is that what you meant?
Have a very nice trip!
January 15, 2009 at 3:41 pm

Hi Louise,
You will see a lovely skyscape.
Have a safe trip!
January 15, 2009 at 10:54 pm
Good catch, Louise. You know all our northern friends are jealous of the everyday boring blue skies — and the whining when it gets down to freezing.
January 16, 2009 at 12:33 am
Great photo. I love the sky in a plain it is the only time you can look at a cloud from above.
January 16, 2009 at 1:14 am

Great sky! I love those streaks of clouds 🙂 That’s pretty much how I remember Albuquerque too… blah on the ground, deep blue skies above.
January 16, 2009 at 4:35 pm
Great shot from the plane. Hope you are having a nice trip.
January 16, 2009 at 7:11 pm

January 16, 2009 at 9:59 pm
Wonderful, wonderful window seat photo. Amazing how brilliant the scene is, even with the dry and brown city below. This is a great Ruby Tuesday possibility, also. Nice work!
January 18, 2009 at 2:47 am
After flying for years and working for the airline, what impresses me, almost as much as your beautiful photo and the vistas, is that the airplane window must have been sparkling clean for you to have taken such a clear sharp photo as this one!
Excellent!
Have fun!
